Brian Hargrave Named MCDA 2025 Interlude Award Winner
Carthage School District is proud to announce that the Missouri Choral Directors Association (MCDA) has named Brian Hargrave as the recipient of the 2025 Interlude Award, one of the organization’s most prestigious honors. The Interlude Award recognizes outstanding choral educators in Missouri who demonstrate excellence in teaching, musical artistry, and professional leadership. Recipients must have at least eight years of full-time teaching experience and a proven record of high-level choral performance, mentorship, and service to the choral community.
Mr. Hargrave was selected for his exceptional contributions to choral music education, his commitment to student success, and his lasting impact on the Missouri choral landscape. His dedication to excellence and his leadership within MCDA exemplify the very spirit of this award.
The award was presented at the 2025 MCDA Summer Conference.
